You can delete your payment method from our system, but your name and order history are (at least currently) unable to be deleted. If you do not wish to have a (what could possibly be) permanent account within our system, please discontinue the use of our site and do not create a store account.

WHAT PERSONAL DATA WE COLLECT AND WHY WE COLLECT IT

We may collect certain personal data from users and site visitors, such as name, email address, phone number, personal account preferences; transactional data, such as purchase information; and technical data, such as information about cookies.

We collect this data in order to provide the services and resources outlined within our site(s) and with the active consent the user has given (by continuing to use our site and/or resources and/or by opting in to services).

Personal data may not just be created by a user’s interactions with this site. Personal data might also be generated from technical processes such as contact forms, comments, cookies, analytics, and third-party embeds.

COMMENTS

When visitors leave comments on the site, we collect the data shown in the comments form, as well as the visitor’s IP address and browser user agent string to help spam detection.

MEDIA

If you upload images to the website, you should avoid uploading images with embedded location data (EXIF GPS) included. Visitors to the website can download and extract any location data from images on the website.

CONTACT FORMS

For users that submit a form on our website, we store the personal information provided within the form. We retain this information indefinitely for customer service purposes, but unless you have double-opted in for marketing or email subscriptions, we do not use information submitted through contact forms for marketing purposes.

COOKIES

We use Squarespace for our website hosting. Squarespace places cookies on visitors’ browsers to help this site run effectively, provide the best experience for you as a visitor, and help us learn more about traffic to this site. Please read Squarespace’s cookie policy to learn more, and if you do not agree with their policies regarding the usage of cookies, you may opt not to use this site.

EMBEDDED CONTENT FROM OTHER WEBSITES

Articles on this site may include embedded content (e.g. videos, images, articles, etc.). Embedded content from other websites behaves in the exact same way as if the visitor has visited the other website.

These websites may collect data about you, use cookies, embed additional third-party tracking, and monitor your interaction with that embedded content, including tracking your interaction with the embedded content, if you have an account and are logged in to that website.

ANALYTICS

We use third-party analytic software (Squarespace, Google Analytics, etc.) to better understand our website’s usage and search engine optimization. Please visit those services’ websites to learn what information may be gathered about you while visiting our site, as well as how to opt out from tracking.

SEARCH

Any visitor-chosen search filters and query data is used in order to process search requests and for site analytics.

WHO WE SHARE YOUR DATA WITH

We only share your data with third-party applications if necessary to complete a transaction or if required by a specific functionality of the site (example, PayPal, social media, text messaging service, etc.). We do not sell our email lists.

HOW LONG WE RETAIN YOUR DATA

If you leave a comment, the comment and its metadata are retained indefinitely. This is so we can recognize and approve any follow-up comments automatically instead of holding them in a moderation queue.

For users that register on our website, we also store the personal information they provide in their user profile. All users can see, edit, or delete their personal information at any time (except they cannot change their username). Website administrators can also see and edit that information.

WHAT RIGHTS YOU HAVE OVER YOUR DATA

If you have an account on this site (or have left comments), you can request that we erase any personal data we hold about you. This does not include any data we are obliged to keep for administrative, legal, or security purposes.

WHERE WE SEND YOUR DATA

Visitor comments may be checked through an automated spam detection service.

HOW WE PROTECT YOUR DATA

We use the security protocols and recommendations of our web host (Squarespace) and any other third-party companies (example, PayPal, Stripe, social media sites, text message service, etc.).
